Biography of Royo b. 1949

Spanish Contemporary Artist. If the artwork of Renoir were blended with that of the ‘Valencian painters’ you would approach the uniqueness of the impressive work of Royo. His sweeping brush strokes, bold swathes of colour, and heavy impasto capture the eye and draw one inward. Studied in Valencia. Exhibited in Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Geneva, London and New York. Represented in International Collections.
