Biography of Peter Wileman b. 1946

Contemporary British Artist. Started working in a card company, where he spent 5 years studying lettering and design. Then moved on to become an art editor on a number of magazines. He became a freelance illustrator which gave him the opportunity to concentrate on his painting and has since gone on to produce a pictures inspired by Britain’s coves and harbours. He has exhibited widely including the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters.
